The Sima Group, established since 1991, was founded by a group of independent merchants. The primary purpose of this association was to pool the strengths and resources of the merchants in a cooperative association structure to eliminate middlemen with the manufacturer. This association has strengthened the competitiveness of each of the member stores. The Sima Group now has around thirty retailers across Canada and is constantly growing.
